About Me

I've been playing roller derby with the Hellions of Troy since September 2009. I started this blog in April 2010 when I was invited by the Troy Record to start blogging. Special thanks to Katie and Tom for the opportunity!

I was elected as the Hellions League Manager in 2011 and am still currently serving in the position.  I am also one of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) reps for our League.

I live in downtown Albany with my boyfriend, aka Massacre, and our two cats. When I'm not kicking ass at roller derby, I work a full time job as a budget analyst. I also play in a professional marching band, dapple in photography, and enjoy juggling. I graduated from SUNY Albany in May 2008 and I loveeeeee math.

Here's my bio from the Hellions of Troy website:

A bouncing baby Temper was born nearly a quarter century ago to a delighted and proud Mr. and Mrs. Temper. In her younger years, her demeanor was pleasant, with her “terrible twos” lasting but one whole day of screaming “no!” But, from that day after, it was yes, yes, YES!

Short T grew up a positive and carefree girl until one day, at age 18, she realized she still couldn’t ride half the kiddie rides at Hoffman’s Playland. Upon this despicable revelation, she vowed from that day on to become faster than a roller coaster and jump higher than a ferris wheel. Heightism is for clowns, and they can stay at the carnival. Now it’s all about the rink, where there’s no restriction on height, sass, velocity…or temper.
